Oct 14: White Water Canoe Trip

On Friday Oct 12, five students, including myself, guided by Ken Brown and Corey Mestre went to the Madawaska river for a 26km white water canoe trip. The temperatures were cold, especially when falling in the river (twice), but it was an awesome weekend. My camera went through quite a bit, but the dry bag worked well.

Oct 11: Portraits of Farmers

For a documentary project I went to the country to shoot portraits of different types of farmers. They ranged from dairy farmers, grain farmers, pig farmers, produce farmers, etc. Being more of a city type myself I stuck out a little around the farm. I don't think that most of the farmers even realized camera's like mine existed, but everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. The odd farmer would ask if I was an animal rights activist, but I would tell them no, and how much I like steak. It was a fun experience for me. My camera strap of my 5d still stinks like cow poop, but that'll go away soon I'm sure.
