The Florida Panthers public relations department emailed me last week requesting shots of Shawn Matthias for Next Magazine, which is showcasing Florida's up and coming stars. I chose the railway because CN Rail had a huge part in bringing the Bulls to Belleville in 1981. The Bulls arena is named the Yardmen in honour of this. I think the crossroads also symbolize Matthias' transition from the OHL to the NHL. I think Matthias had a good time doing the shoot, which makes it so easy to work.
