Jan. 4- 90m Ski Jumping

With winds swirling and flurries flying, only one member of the US National Ski Jumping team fought the elements to practice today at Mt. Van Hovenburg in Lake Placid. After coaches Matt Cook and Shawn Burk swept the entire take-off ramp, Willie Graves, 21, of Puttany, Vermont completed five jumps before being forced to quit due to the weather conditions. Graves is headed to Vancouver this weekend to try the new facilities built for the 2010 Olympic games.
